New Year's Day

Today is New Year's Day. Many people will wake up late today. Some celebrated in the streets at midnight. Some people watched firecrackers in the sky. Some people got drunk. Some people went to churches and watched the New Year come at midnight. Some people stayed home and quietly celebrated with family and friends. There were all kinds of people and all kinds of plans for the beginning of the New Year. Now we face a new year. Everyone had some kinds of plans. New Year's Eve

Many churches had special services planned the next morning to honor that special birth. God had plans of His own. He spoke quietly last Sunday morning. Did you hear the message? He wrote the message so vividly. Did you see the message? It seemed to come straight from heaven. The message fell from the sky! God says in Isaiah 1:8 "Come now, let's settle this," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool." New Living Translation 2007 Human eyes notice red better at a distance than any other color. This is the reason stop signs are red. Last Sunday afternoon, the red stop sign on the street in front of my house was completely covered by snow. My neighbor's red car was covered by snow. The landscape was a ...
