Last Saturday was Christmas morning. Many people, even lots of non-Christians, were thinking about the babe in the Bethlehem stable. Many churches had special services planned the next morning to honor that special birth.

God had plans of His own. He spoke quietly last Sunday morning. Did you hear the message? He wrote the message so vividly. Did you see the message? It seemed to come straight from heaven. The message fell from the sky!

God says in Isaiah 1:8 "Come now, let's settle this," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool." New Living Translation 2007

Human eyes notice red better at a distance than any other color. This is the reason stop signs are red. Last Sunday afternoon, the red stop sign on the street in front of my house was completely covered by snow. My neighbor's red car was covered by snow. The landscape was a message from God. Purity--innocence--forgiveness.

Read the verse again.

When we accept Jesus as Savior and Lord, our souls look like a fresh field of snow.

Have you accepted Jesus as Savior?
